Simple background. Once again simple is away better. Having a background full of clutter like toys or furniture is distracting. Picking a place in your house where there isn’t a lot of distracting elements can be tough. Most people have stuff and lots of it so my approach is don’t be afraid to move that stuff around. Blank walls make great backgrounds. Large ottomans or beds are great for babies to lie on as long as there is good natural light to be found. Clear out the rest. Simple window shots make great photos with moms to be. Just the window and a mommy to-be’s silhouette
